DIAGNOSTYKA Sp. z o. o. is the largest Polish company that maintains a network of medical laboratories and employs more than 5,000 people. It renders services to patients, hospitals, as well as public and non-public out-patient institutions. More than 50 million markings are performed annually, including more than 2,500 types of tests.
The amount and quality of research makes Diagnostyka an unquestionable leader among entities present on the medical market in our country.
The company operates through a countrywide network of laboratories, with its head office based in Kraków. Since 2001 hospital laboratories of Diagnostyka have been opened in the outsourcing system.
Diagnostyka focuses on high quality of services and a comprehensive offer from the very beginning of its activity.
It provides complete services: from taking samples through making tests and providing the results within 24 hours or immediately, via the Internet, after the result is accepted in the laboratory.
The company has created its own, professional messenger service suited to the specific requirements of transportation of biological material.
A modern computer program, e-Lab (based on Oracle Data Base), facilitates work automation in the company’s laboratories, as all analysers are connected in a network, orders are registered with the use of a scanner and a system of barcodes, and the test findings can be checked online, with the personal data being well protected at the same time.
Laboratories, equipped with the state-of-the-art of diagnostic equipment, have an integrated system of laboratory quality control. The company takes part in Polish and international programs for laboratory control. Diagnostyka, meeting its customers’ expectations, continually strives to improve its service quality standards.
In 2004 the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System was introduced, and in 2011 some of the company’s laboratories were certified with the ISO 15189 standard specifying requirements for quality and competence in medical laboratories.
